Your customized meeting package includes continuous coffee, tea, soft drinks, juice and ice water during your meeting. If you have also requested snacks with your break, some suggestions are: Fern rolls with honey, freshly baked muffins, cinnamon buns, butter tarts, brownies, cookies, yogurt parfaits, fresh sliced fruit, pita chips with veggies and hummus, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions
We will customize an all-inclusive per person group package rate that makes sense for your event. We charge a simple all-inclusive rate based on single or double occupancy. The price depends on the inclusions, the date, how much meeting space you require and the number of people.
We do not have a minimum food and beverage requirement because your meals are automatically included in your package. Not paying for your delegate’s meals? No problem, we will customize the package that’s right for you and we can charge the delegates directly for their meals.
Alcohol, specialty coffee such as Cappuccino, gift shop purchases, and some activities like water skiing. There are no billing surprises or hidden fees!!
It is a percentage charged on the negotiated rate to facilitate the efficient delivery of meetings and events and includes service paid to core staff.
Yes we offer a simple all-inclusive package that includes accommodation, all meals served à la carte in the Dining Room, meeting space with natural light, continuous beverages during your meeting and at meals, AV equipment, fibre optic high-speed WIFI, parking and use of the many sports and recreation amenities.

Fern Resort’s rates are all-inclusive so your meals are already included. We do not have any cooking facilities for our guests and outside catering is not permitted. Some exceptions such as wedding cakes may apply. Let us do all of the cooking and cleaning! You deserve it!
Fern Resort is accustomed to taking care of hundreds of guests at every meal. With that comes the need to accommodate many food allergies and sensitivities. All of our menus have gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available. Please identify yourself to your Server and let them know about your specific allergy so they can alert the kitchen. Our Culinary Team is very careful to follow the allergy protocols for just about any dietary restrictions or allergy.

For social groups the balance is due prior to departure. For corporate groups you will be invoiced for the remainder of your bill after departure and it is due within 30 days.
Yes, we offer fun indoor and outdoor group activities. Our groups especially love the Fantastic Race or the Pub Night Trivia! Please contact us to discuss your Team Building requirements.
How to get here
We are a short drive from the GTA, and only 30 minutes from Barrie, ON. From Orillia, take Hwy 12 east and turn north on Rama Road (County Rd. 44). Turn West on Fern Resort Road.
Save time and fly
We are a 20 minute drive from Lake Simcoe Regional Airport which is serviced by FlyGTA Airlines. The short-hop flight from downtown Toronto takes less than 20 minutes. Domestic and international charters can also be booked from most major cities at a reasonable price. Canada Customs Agents are onsite for international arrivals and rental cars and taxis are available. For guests flying into Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Simcoe County Airport Service runs a shuttle service directly to Fern Resort.
