About the Role

Dishwasher

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the dishes/cutlery are cleaned to resort standards and stored in their proper areas along with a general clean-up of dish and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean dishes/pots/utensils/silverware to resort standards and stock in the back and kitchen before and after each meal.
  • The opening and closing of the dishwasher and pot sinks.
  • To ensure the floor is kept clean and free of water.
  • Cleaning of the staff dining room.
  • Transport food orders to storage in the basement when needed.
  • To keep a watchful eye on dish inventory.

Job Specification:

  • Good organizational skills.
  • Takes own initiative.
  • Works well on their own and with others.
  • Flexible to working shifts.
  • May be required to work elsewhere on the resort if needed.
