LIFE JACKETS FOR SWIMMING

If anyone in your party requires a personal flotation device to swim or if your child is around water and you wish the security of a personal flotation device, please bring your own.

POOL TOWELS

Although we provide pool towels, there may be occasions when we cannot keep up with the demand. If you bring some of your own, to save for these rare times, you will always be covered!

FISHING RODS & TACKLE

If you have that magic lure that gets you the big one please feel free to bring your own equipment for our morning fishing trips or for great fishing around the property.

SPORTS EQUIPMENT

If you prefer to use your own golf clubs, tennis racquet, basketball, bike and bike helmet, or even your own wakeboard, please feel free to use them here at the resort. We do not have baseball gloves or lacrosse equipment.

EXTREME SPORTS EQUIPMENT

Closed-toe shoes are required for the high and low ropes courses.

LIFE JACKETS FOR BOATING

We provide life jackets for our Dock Start Ski program and for water sports in Fern’s watercraft.

POOL TOWELS

Pool towels may be signed out at the front desk. Used towels must be returned to the front desk to be signed in or to be exchanged for clean ones. ($10.00 fee for non-returned towels)

FISHING ROD AND LIVE BAIT

Kids are welcome to come to the boat/fishing dock to get a stick with string and a hook. If you would like to go on the morning fishing trip and do not have a rod we have limited quantities to borrow (first come, first served). Bait is available free of charge for the boat dock area.

SPORTS EQUIPMENT

If you do not have your own equipment and would like to try your hand at tennis, golf, or any of the other sports activities on property we have equipment that you can borrow.

PAINTBALL EQUIPMENT

We require that Fern Resort markers and paintballs be used for this activity. We also supply coveralls and protective headgear.

EXTREME SPORTS EQUIPMENT

Helmets and harnesses are provided for high ropes. For archery sessions we provide arrows, bows and protective wrist pads.

FUN ON THE WATER

With close to two kilometres of waterfront there is so much fun to be had on, in and around Lake Couchiching. And as if that is not enough, we have two outdoor pools, one indoor pool, hot tubs saunas and steam room. See how you can enjoy the water at Fern.
